Objects
An object is an item that can be seen, touched, and sometimes smelled and heard. Some objects can be used by a single user while others should be used by multiple users. Objects can be both highly functional or be used as a piece of decoration within a space. Objects can also be versatile and provide different uses. An object may need to be specifically used in a certain space or may at times be used within different spaces. There are thousands of objects that range and differ from one another in materiality, color, size, and form. These resources will be constantly growing and expanding over time in an effort to further illustrate and document the many topics and issues related to the objects in our lives.
The Nelson Star Clock has a minimalistic design that resembles a star, as its name suggests. The Nelson Star Clock was designed by George Nelson for Vitra and is crafted from chrome and brass.
